In this awesome scene from Ezekiel 1, the glorious light surrounding the Figure seated on the throne is called lapus lazuli... which has an intense aquamarine-turquoise color.  I got this image from the movie "Knowing".  In the movie, a child had colored the lapus lazuli a red/orange color to signify a coming solar flare that would soon devastate the earth.

Lapus lazuli is also mentioned in the book of Revelation as the color of the sea of glass and sky surrounding the throne of God.

"Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal..." (Revelation 4:6)
